Lake Champlain Kayak
Trek
A week of sea kayaking and camping on America’s Sixth Great Lake where
some of the greatest inland sea kayaking can be found.
This trip is recommended for older, more experienced scouts in your
troop. Kayaking or boating experience is helpful but not needed. Voyage
distance expected to be 50-75 miles. Challenging conditions likely (“High
Adventure”).
Max. Group Size: 10 participants, 2 staff, total 12 in group.

A weekend of sea kayaking and camping the mighty Hudson River! The trip
begins in Peekskill on Saturday Morning. Heading south, Saturday night is
spent camping in Croton Point Park. Sunday the journey south continues to
the Tarrytown light house and Tappan Zee Bridge ending in Sleepy Hollow.
This trip is recommended for older, more experienced scouts in your troop.
Kayaking or boating experience is helpful but not needed. Voyage distance
expected to be 15-20 miles. Challenging conditions likely (“High
Adventure”).
