Blue Mountain Lake to Forked Lake
30 miles. 2 portages. 5 day trip. Great mountain scenery, good
fishing in both lake and stream.
Transportation fee: $90.00 for 254 miles to/from Summit
Base St. Regis Wilderness Area
23 miles, 6 fairly easy portages, 5 day trip. Delightful variety of ponds
connected by short portages and a hike up St. Regis Mountain.
Transportation fee: $142 for 406 miles to/from Summit base
Long
Lake to Tupper Lake and Raquette River
45-50 miles. 1 to 3 portages. 5 day trip. An easy lake and
river trip. One 1.5 mile carry.
Transportation fee: $99 for 284 miles to/from Summit
Base.

Long Lake to Axton Landing
29 miles. 3 day version of above trek. One 1.5 miles
portage. Some challenge at 10 miles a day. All river (20 miles) is
downstream.
Transportation fee: $110 for 319 miles to/from Summit
Base.
Upper
Oswegatchie River
10-40 miles. Up to 2 portages. 5 day trek. Dependant on river
flow and blowdown conditions. A true wilderness round trip with many
beaver dams.

Lows Lake
24-30 miles. 2 portages. 5 day trek. Easy paddle up Bog River
to designated campsites. Some good hiking.

Lake
5-30 miles. No portages. 5 day trek. Beautiful wild lake with
mostly state owned shoreline. Optional hikes to waterfalls and low
mountains.

Old Forge to the Saranacs
90-100 miles, 10 portages, 11+ days
A great challenge for fairly strong participants. Resupply twice.
Real lightweight adventure.
Cedar River to Caitlin Bay (backpacking), Long Lake to Axton Landing (canoe)
Backpacking miles: 20. Canoeing miles: 23 Canoe supply and transport
to Long Lake occurs midweek.

Summit Base including midweek transition.
