Transportation
Fees
Transportation fees are additional, NOT included in the camper fees. See Council Transportation Information.
- One way: $80
- Round trip: $160
Pick-up & drop off locations: White Plains, Katonah, Fishkill.
Register through the unit or on the individual camper application, for
individual campers.
Refund Policy
The $50.00 per site, per week deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE in the event of cancellation.
$25.00 per week of each Scout's fee is NOT REFUNDABLE, but may be transferred from one boy
to another within a troop. All deposits will be credited toward the balance of fees due.

Camp
Scholarships
It is the desire of the Westchester-Putnam Council that all boys attend camp
regardless of financial resources. To that end, partial camp
scholarships are available. Confidential applications are available
from the Council Service Center and below. Scholarships awarded CANNOT
be transferred from one Scout to another. Please submit an application
as soon as possible. No applications will be accepted after June
1, 2012.

Reservation Policy
The Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation has experienced tremendous growth in attendance over
the past few years. In order to accommodate everyone possible, the Council Camping
Committee has set the Campsite Reservation Policy to
read as follows:
- If a troop signs up for the following year while at camp, they may reserve a site. In
order to avoid sharing or being moved from that site, they must fill 75% of the available
space. Number of campers attending will be determined by June 1st each year.
- Any camp reservation taken after the season closes will be taken on a site preference
basis. The camp management has the option to move the troop as space dictates.

The aim of the camp administration is to provide troops with their
preferred site whenever possible. View upcoming summer's site
reservations.
Site Deposit
Policy
Each unit is encouraged to make their reservation for the following summer
at the time of check-out from summer camp. Your reservation at this time
ensures that you will retain your desired camp week and site. If any past
due troop fees are not paid by October 30th, it will be applied towards
those fees and the site(s) will be lost.
