The Westchester-Putnam Council is proud to offer the following 2008 Prize Program

Each Scout receives a prize just for participating: Scouts will have an opportunity to select a prize at all levels of the sale. Every youth who participates (sells just one item) receives a Trail’s End Patch or Pin, even if the Scout’s Unit chooses the 5% commission instead of prizes.

Fill Up Your Order Form Patch: If a Scout fills up all 25 lines of his order form with popcorn sales he will receive a special patch and a top salesman certificate from Trail’s End (Unit Kernel needs to send copies to Trail’s End). In addition to the patch and certificate all Fill Up Your Order Form qualifiers will be invited to the Westchester-Putnam Council’s Popcorn Victory Party.

Fill Up Your Order Form Prize Lottery: In addition to the Fill Up Your Order Form patch and certificate, Scouts who fill an order form will be entered into a weighted lottery to win 1 of 7 prize packages. A copy of the Scout’s order form(s) must be submitted to the Council by November 15th. The 7 Prize packages will include prizes such as electric scooters, telescopes, tents, walkie-talkies and other great items.

$1,500 Sellers: In addition to any other prize or gift card a Scout earns, those that sell $1,500 worth of popcorn will receive their choice of a $50 gift card from Wal-Mart, Coleman or Scoutstuff.org. Each $1,500 seller will also receive an MP3 Player or prize of their choice from level 6 and an invitation to the Popcorn Victory Party.   See $1,500 seller form, below.

Trail’s End College Scholarship: Scouts who sell $2,500 or more are eligible for a Trail’s End Scholarship. Money will stay in a Scout’s scholarship account and grow until college. Sell $2,500 worth of popcorn one time and any additional sales a Scout makes throughout his Scouting career will also be credited (up to 6%) to the scholarship account. Popcorn Victory Party: For all Scouts who fill up their order form, are a $1,500 seller, or are the child of a Popcorn Coordinator from all $5,000+ selling Units will be invited to a Popcorn Victory Party on January 28, 2009. This year we are moving the Victory Party from a formal dinner to an event at a unique and centrally located venue location with lots of fun and prizes for all who attend.
