Earn Up To 40% Commission For Your Unit
70% of all popcorn sales goes right back to Scouting. 30% will go to support the Council programs and camps and 40% will go back to your Unit in commissions, prizes and incentives to support your own program. Here is how it works.

30% Base Commission
Your Unit will earn a minimum of 30% on all gross sales you make. You will get to keep this profit right off the top. No need to send all the money to the Council office and then wait to get your commission back. Only turn in to the Council what you owe for the sale. Laura Kaye and members of the staff will be available if you have any questions regarding the process.

5% Bonus Commission
Your Unit will earn an additional 5% Bonus (total of 35% commission) if you do the following 3 things (must meet all requirements to get bonus).
1. Have up to 3 volunteers from your Unit attend one of the three popcorn kick-off/training events
2. Set your Unit Sales Goal and conduct a Unit Kick-off
3. Pay your invoice in full by the due dates of November 15th and December 19th, 2008.

5% Prize Options
If your Unit decides it does not want prizes (cannot be done for individual Scouts) you may choose not to participate in the prize program and receive an additional 5% commission (total of 40% commission). The Scouts will still qualify for the Fill Up Your Order Form program, $1,500 Seller program and Scholarship participation.

CAUTION: Only choose this option if you have developed your own recognition program. Make sure everyone understands that they will not be getting the prizes that are in the brochure and instead the additional funds will be used in some special way (buy tents, canoes, big trip). Prizes help motivate the Scouts, so make sure you have another way to motivate them.

Corporate Sale Option
If someone in your Unit has a relationship with a business or corporation or owns their own business, the Corporate Sale option can really benefit your Unit’s sale. An individual or company can support our local Scouts, and at the same time show appreciation to customers and employees over the holidays with a gift of popcorn. For orders greater than $1,000 we can deliver the product directly to the business without your Unit even having to handle the product.
