The Hills are Alive, With the Sound of Scouts? Dan Rile 2017

Go take a hike! All Boy and Cub Scouts and their families are welcome at the annual Dan Rile Trek.

This year there are 2-, 5- and 10-mile loops that start and stop at Durland.

Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights at Durland.

All registered Scouts and adults receive an event patch. $5 per Scout hiking only, $8 per Scout camping. No charge for registered adults as our thank you for their service!

Route maps will be available at the Campmaster's office when units or families check in. Troops that are camping must check in with the Campmaster and must provide a full roster of all youth and adults camping.

Hikers should pack a lunch and plenty of water, and should be prepared for the weather. All hikers should bring a map, compass and flashlight/head lamp. Troops planning to do the 10-mile loop should depart no later than 10:00 or 10:30 am to allow sufficient time to get back to camp by sunset.
