Mr. Engle earned his Eagle in Southern California. He is Vice President and Treasurer of AIG Consumer Finance Group, Inc., a subsidiary of AIG, Inc. Scott joined AIG in 2007 after twenty-five years in investment
banking. Scott is a past President of the Westchester-Putnam Council, B.S.A. and is currently the Executive Vice President for Strategic Planning. Thunderbird Games XV
The fifteenth annual Thunderbird Games was held on October 13th and 14th and was a tremendous success! About 3,200 people attended this annual favorite of Cub Scouts and their parents. The event was held at the Croton Point Park. Cub Scouts participated in over thirty-five different games, watched demonstrations and enjoyed a tremendous evening show. Over 1,500 Cubs, leaders and parents camped overnight in the park on Saturday night. This year’s theme was “Shiver Me Timbers” and was a great hit.

This tremendous event could not take place without the involvement of hundreds of volunteers. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of each person involved in making the games a great success. This year’s event chair, in his first year in this position, was Frank Doherty. Leo Marks returned to ensure that registration ran smoothly and Karen Boutross and her tremendous program committee were responsible for the games and the evening show.

If you missed this weekend, put it on your calendar for next year - October 18th and 19th - Thunderbird XVI!
