This registration is only to apply to the Trail to Eagle program. Applicants must be approved and then will receive the payment link. Registering here does NOT constitute acceptance to the program. Please note scouts must have signature of Scoutmaster in order to be considered. Payment of $325 is due by 4/1 parent meeting to finalize registration.

The Westchester-Putnam Council, Boy Scouts of America is proud to sponsor the 2017 Trail to Eagle Course. This specialty course will provide an opportunity for Scouts to earn 5 merit badges over a 5 month period; taught by adult volunteer professionals. To qualify for this program a Scout must:

• Be 14 years or older, attained the rank of Star Scout
• Attended Summer Camp within the last 3 years
• Have the attitude, respect and spirit of an Eagle Scout candidate
• Have Scout Master approval

This course will be limited to 30 scouts to ensure a low ratio of Scout to Merit Badge Counselor sessions. The cost for the course is $325 which includes materials, food, camping fees and a Trail to Eagle item. Enrollment confirms Scout availability for all THREE sessions, course dates are:

Sat April 1st – Mandatory Parent & Scout meeting
Fri – Sun Jun 23rd – 25th - Scout weekend at Durland
Thu-Sun Aug 17th – 20th - Scout weekend at Durland

Scouts MUST attend all 3 sessions fully. SCOUTMASTER signature is required to complete registration once accepted into the program. Scouts should download the registration form and choose merit badges once accepted into the program.

Please note:

Scouts should apply to the Trail to Eagle program first, wait to be accepted and then pay the course fee. There are NO exceptions to the qualification requirements.
