Friends of Scouting
affords families, friends, alumni, business and community organizations an opportunity to support Scouting. Contributions provide approximately 24 percent of the support the council receives each year. The success of Scouting depends on those who support it.
Memorials and tributes are a nice way for individuals, businesses, or groups to remember special friends. Special donations in memory or honor of an extraordinary individual will be acknowledged and handled with great care.

Upcoming Special Events
The Golf Classic
is a fundraiser to support the council. The will be played in a scramble format with prizes awarded to the top three foursomes on each course. Prizes will also be given for the longest drive and closest to the pin on each course. All proceeds from the event go to support Scouting in Westchester and Putnam Counties
The Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner
recognizes the previous year’s Eagle Scout Class. The council continues its tradition of providing this reception free of charge for new Eagle Scouts and a guest. The evening is underwritten with generous sponsorships by many Eagle Scout alumni, charter members and patrons.
The Sporting Clays Tournament is an annual event to support the Westchester-Putnam Council's programs.
