WELCOME TO THE JEDI ACADEMY - Cub Scout Day Camp!

Westchester-Putnam Council is proud to present JEDI ACADEMY! Enjoy up to 6 weeks of Jedi training camp at 2 different locations (Iona Prep & Camp Durland). 

Day camp hours are 9am to 4pm. 

Early Drop off now available - as early as 8am drop off.

Late Pick up now available - for up to 5pm.

Train to hone your Jedi skills-use the Force to help Obi-Wan defeat Darth Vader and the Sith! Start as a Youngling, then Padawan, Jedi Master and Jedi Lord! You'll train in the Jedi arts of boating, swimming, archery, scout skills, climbing and more at Durland Scout Base while our Iona Prep Base offers scout skills, archery, sports, climbing, and more!

The Rebel Alliance is ready to prepare it's future Jedi Knights with 6 weeks of day camp at 2 locations and 1 week of Resident Camp at Read Scout Reservation.

Adults can join the Alliance with their Padawan at Buddy Resident Camp at Read for a half or full week session.

Full payment is due by June 9th or will incur a $30 late fee.  There is a $50 non-refundable fee should you decide to cancel.

Camp Scholarships

To ensure that every boy can attend camp, regardless of financial resources, the Westchester-Putnam Council offers camp scholarships (camperships) to help with a partial camp payment. The application is below and must be submitted before May 1.

Camp Staffs

Camp Staff for a variety of positions including management, program delivery and support are needed for all of our summer programs. Ages range from 14 year old CIT’s and up, adults and youth.

The only way we can offer high quality programs is have the finest staff available. We want the people from your units that may be interested. Please download and submit the Staff Application.

All camps are operated by trained and experienced staff members. Each camp meets the requirements of both the New York Department of Health and the Boy Scouts of America.

Medical Forms

Parts A & B of the Annual Health and Medical Record, along with the Over the Counter Medication form, are required to bring with your scout for Day Camp Attendance.

For Resident Camp Attendance, Parts A,B,& C of the Annual Health and Medical Record are required, as well as the Over the Counter Medication form.  These must be submitted prior to camp.
