The Westchester-Putnam Council Boy Scouts of America is heading up a Bottled Water Drive to deliver fresh drinking water to the Scouting families of Flint, MI. We are asking our fellow scouts and scouters to drop off full cases of water bottles and water gallons.

National Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.
The Westchester-Putnam Council, Boy Scouts of America is proud to sponsor the 2016 Trail to Eagle Course. This specialty course will provide an opportunity for Scouts to earn 5 merit badges over a 5 month period; taught by adult volunteer professionals.
The Engineering EXPO is a venue where middle and high school Students can go to meet with people from Engineering & Science Colleges and Universities, as well as Engineering firms, Government Agencies, Technical Societies and Businesses working in Engineering, Technology and the Sciences. Scouts can earn Engineering MB.
Cub Scouts Earn the Snow Ski and Board Sports Belt Loop or Sports Pin for either Downhill Skiing or Snowboarding.
Boy Scouts earn the Snow Sports Merit Badge for either Downhill Skiing or Snowboarding.
Your day will include a 75-minute ski or snowboard lesson, rental equipment (if needed), and lift ticket for the day. Bring a bag lunch or purchase your meal in our cafeteria. Dress warmly!
WPC is looking for a few good men and women to lead our scouts on the Adventure of a lifetime!
The fun at the Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation continues throughout the winter. A group or individuals may reserve any of the ten weekends from January through March for exciting winter adventure.
Live Your Own Adventure-Get On Trek
The Summit Base trek program provides different opportunities coinciding with the seasons. During the summer season six and twelve day trips are offered with weekend trips during the fall, winter and spring.
The Westchester-Putnam Council provides Council programs, High Adventure Camps and other Camping Experiences to the Scouts and Leaders in its area. We must send deposits, buy supplies and produce mailings to support these events.
Fees are usually paid in advance of the event and to ensure the Council can provide the best service to the scouts the following refund policies will apply.
